Meeting with your Therapist

Guidelines when meeting with your Therapist

We are pleased to be able to offer you face to face contact back at the Consulting Rooms. You may notice that some things have changed. Please be patient these changes are necessary to ensure the safety of clients and therapists alike.

  • If you have experienced any Covid like symptoms (high temperature, new and persistent cough, loss of smell and taste) please do not attend your session, stay home, and call 111 for expert advice.
  • Please wait outside the rooms near to the time you have been given for your session to start.
  • Please wear a face mask to go into and out of the building and room.
  • Your therapist will text you to let you know that the door is open and ready for you to come in.
  • If possible, your therapist will take your temperature when you arrive. If your temperature is 38 or above, you will be asked to return home and seek advice.
  • Please either wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer that will be available.
  • Your therapist will direct you to your room. The door will be open. Please take your seat.
  • Your therapist will join you and wash their hands. The session will begin.
  • Sessions have been limited to 45 minutes to reduce risk of infection and to allow for cleaning between clients.
  • At the end of the session your therapist will open the door to the therapy room and to the building.
  • If you wish to use the toilet then please advise your therapist who will clean the area for you.
