For many years I worked in a variety of NHS settings supporting people with both their physical and mental health needs. Over time I decided to focus on mental health and retrained as a psychotherapist.
I currently work part time at a university supporting both undergraduates and postgraduates with the issues arising from the stresses of that transitional stage of their lives. These younger clients have a variety of often complex needs in the aftermath of living through covid during key stages of their development, as well as the normal challenges of leaving home.
In my private practice I also work with older adults including those in their retirement years. I hold a strong belief there is no upper age limit to receiving therapy.
