As a BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over ten years' experience in the fields of abuse, trauma, relationships, mental health, working with both adults and adolescents, I draw on a number of different approaches to tailor my work to the individual needs of each client. I have worked in the NHS, mental health and educational settings, in therapeutic and supervisory roles.
The prospect of talking to someone about personal or painful feelings can feel daunting. An initial consultation can be useful to explore the current or unresolved past challenges for which you are considering Counselling or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. We can see how well we work together and be able to decide if my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is appropriate for you.
My approach aims to assist in exploring thoughts, feelings, conflicts, both in the present & past and to help facilitate change, growth and resolution, reducing symptoms and helping you to live more fully.
