Elizabeth Joy
I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within the BACP's Ethical Framework.
I use Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches as well as elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Gestalt. This means that I use elements of different theories to form a unique approach to counselling.
The way I work with each client depends on the issue presented and the number of sessions we have, but above all, it depends on what works best for you.
My aim is to help you feel safe and secure enough to explore and the way we work together will evolve from this exploration. If you would like to know more, please contact me for further information.
All Practitioners at Brighton Consulting rooms work independently and are responsible for ensuring they are insured and, where applicable, are members of approved professional bodies.
